History tells us that an earthquake has devastated the Earth. This would be heartbreaking, but luckily we have a time machine that will allow us to go back in time and be a little more cautious this time. But, oh, oh, Dr. Emmett L. Brown (Doc, for friends) is in trouble and we’re going to have to sort this mess out without his help and, incidentally, get him out of the mess he’s gotten himself into.

Don’t despair if one of them is a little difficult, the world and Doc are in your hands! The flow, in general, is good, but there are a couple of points where we can pull our hair out if we don’t keep a cool head and give what we have in front of us a spin. In the end, everything has logic, but it is not a simple room (hence the minimum of 4 players), which makes it especially satisfying when we manage to solve the most complex puzzles. Collaboration is especially important. If you don’t know what to do, count on the rest of the team or you may run out of time for what you have left.

As for the games, the first thing we had to do was to make a decision that could mark the success or failure of our mission, especially taking into account that it was half past eleven at night and our brains were not quite at one hundred percent (they had been eating pizza). It is important that you think it through, because depending on what you choose at this point, the experience will unfold in one way or another. In any case, communication between the members of the group will be vital during the first half of the game. You will not be able to advance if you do not pay attention to each other, work as a team and share everything you find. It is also very important that you observe what is going on around you. Don’t trust anything that you have already inspected before, because at any moment something can happen that, if you’re as busy as I am, you won’t notice. Fortunately, Alba was there to shake me out of my lethargy on more than one occasion.

That difference between eras that we talked about earlier is also reflected in the nature of some of the puzzles, being more traditional in the past -picking locks- and somewhat more modern in the future -mechanisms and digital panels-. However, it ends up getting lost towards the second half of the game, where both typologies are intermingled in the same era in which some mechanisms would be out of place. Despite this, if we look at the gameplay of the room, we understand that they bring more dynamism to the experience and it is precisely these second-generation games that allow large groups to divide the work without any of them getting to stand idly by.

Time machine available on any Mac, allows you to back up to an external storage, either external hard disk/solid or USB flash drives, this feature will allow us to return to a previous state of the computer easily without the need to reinstall the computer and copy our files manually after the process.
